We think about you, those who prefer to leave on holidays in September and we share more of our designers holidays tips around the world and in their hometown. Hi Nour! What do you like the most about your hometown?

The unbearable lightness of being that runs in the streets. Just as if the sun and the sea were there just to calm everything down.

Which are the 3 best places you are always heading to while in town?

Wine bar for a casual drink.

Baron to go dinner.

Discotek for dancing every Friday night!

How does your hometown, or your travels, inspire your collection?

All of my collection are inspired by my city, A feeling to take away that I would like to give to the people who are inspired by the way of life, the traditions, the culture, the habits, the architecture of Lebanon, while incorporating in the meantime a modern western rating that comes from my travels.

Your top 3 destination to leave on holidays?

I love to discover new places each time, but I’d say Mykonos, Portugal and Rio de Janeiro.

The dream destination you’ve never been to?

Japan or Argentina.

Your 3 must-have for summer?

A straw hat (I love hats)

A tote bag in garish colors like the last Louboutin.

How will your days look like in holiday this summer?

No idea. For the first time in my life, I’ve decided just not to plan anything at all and to let things go. I am also working on new surprises, so my holidays might not be very long.

Beirut – The love! And the sun.

Which are the 3 best places you are always heading to while in town?

Minus 1 cultural space, My friends and family’s houses and i love the hotel Albergo.

How does your hometown, or your travels, inspire your collection?

The spirit of my hometown as well as places i visit absolutely transpire into all our products, LA TERRE EST FOLLE is all about travel, i pick up things everywhere from the tangible to the intangible, the world is so madly inspiring and diverse. And Beirut is particularly inspiring to me, from the sun to the golden age architecture to those women who have mastered the art of beautiful living in the Lebanese manner, the spirit of beirut is intrinsic to LTF.

Your top 3 destination to leave on holidays?

Portugal, Palm Springs and Italy.

The dream destination you’ve never been to?

Tokyo, brazil, Cambodia and Vietnam.

Loose shirts, vintage levi’s shorts and sunglasses.

How will your days look like in holiday this summer?

They will be phoneless!

What do you like the most about your hometown? 

Lebanon is Insanely Beautiful and charming, beautiful landscape and its the only arab country with no desert in its soil

Which are the 3 best places you are always heading to while in town?

Broumana (the mountains ) the sea (ATCL) and Beirut City( Mar Mikhael , Gemayze.. )

The colors, the shape, the architecture anything can inspire me

Turkish coast, Mykonos, south of france and LA

What do you guys like the most about your hometown?

  • Tracy: Weather, family and outings.
  • George: A lot of monsters live there.
  • Sarah: Friends and family.

Which are the 3 best places you are always heading to while in town?

Creative Space Beirut

  • T: my local bar 429, kissproof for delicious cocktails and the office/Creative Space Beirut of course.
  • G: The coffee shop on my way to the studio, the studio, and one other place, which I’m not going to tell you about!
  • S: Creative space Beirut, factory, home

How does your hometown, or your travels, inspire your collection?

  • T: My hometown is chaotic and constantly changing, the vibe and energy in this city is the perfect setting for inspirations. I also travel a lot, and I make sure to travel to different continents, regions and eclectic places all the time, also another source of my inspiration.
  • G: We’re always inspired, monsters are our main inspiration and source of energy.
  • S: Inspiration is everywhere. It could be something I see in the moment, an interaction I have, or a random thought that appears while doing something unrelated.

Your top 3 destination to leave on holidays?

  • T: NYC, Colombia and Stockholm
  • G: The embassies (to get the visas), New York, and Paris (and wherever the wind take me)!
  • S: somewhere remote by the sea
  • Somewhere remote by the mountains
  • Somewhere remote in land
  • Anywhere remote essentially

The dream destination you’ve never been to?

  • T: Australia
  • G: The Japanese embassy.
  • S: Tokyo or Iceland

Your 3 must-have for summer?  

  • T: scrunchy, sunglasses  and a pair of comfortable shorts  and definitely not flip flops (Hate them)
  • G: Short shorts, peace and love.
  • S: As light and as little as possible (unbearable heat!), sunglasses (that I am constantly misplacing), sandals (so that i feel barefoot)

How will your days look like in holiday this summer? 

  • T: Working during the week and weekend getaways.
  • G What type of question is that?
  • S: What holiday? Working mostly playing scarcely.
