Our parisian Fashion Week !

The month of March also means Fashion Week to us! In Paris as in Dubai, it is the opportunity for the My Souk in the City’s team to meet with our favorite designers, but also to be introduced to new gems. We are taking you back in pictures to that very busy week, and presenting you our crushes from the designers’ new collections, from the Fashion Forward Dubai showroom to Giorgia Viola’s just a step away from the Rue Saint-Honoré.

    

First stop, Fashion Forward Dubai’s Parisian showroom at the Intercontinental Hotel Le Grand, next to the Place de l’Opéra. It brought together the most fashionable designers from the Middle East and North Africa. On the program: ready-to-wear, accessories and leather goods to infinity!

We had the pleasure to meet the designer Cheyma and she presented us her new collection, called Misty Romance. A true ode to freshness and femininity, with its playful and romantic prints and its noble materials, from lace to faux fur! You will be able to shop it very soon online, but for now, have a look at the current collection.

In between two meetings, we also had the pleasure to meet some key fashion and lifestyle influencers and journalists, among them the beautiful Dana Hourani alongside the designer of Kage brand or Kenza Sadoun el Glaoui… They all came to spot the latest looks and the main trends of next season. And we can already tell you that we have many crushes in common, that you will soon find in our selection on the site!

These showrooms are also a great opportunity to get to know new emerging designers. We never tire of discovering the inspirations of their collections, and these ultra-exclusive pieces that put sparkles in our eyes!

Embroideries, pearls, gilding and velvet will be among the key trends of next winter! Jeans, dresses, jackets … For a most eclectic dressing! Like here, with this sneak peek of the last collection of the talented Tunisian designer Soltana.

Then, we headed up to Giorgia Viola’s showroom, which was located near rue Cambon. It also included a superb selection of designers from the Middle East and Maghreb.

  

Among some of the unmissable designers, we were delighted with the new collection of Maram, that you will have the luck to find next season on My Souk in the City. Printed coats with wide collar and fur sleeves, fur printed jackets in different shades of saffron, burgundy and black, dresses and embroidered skirts with golden pearls … This pop collection with oriental inspirations will please the fashion adventurers you are, in search of new experiences!

Flowery prints, shades of pink, sequins and glitters … The latest collection of the Lebanese designer Sandra Mansour truly impressed us! Feminine, elegant and refined, among our favorites pieces are those evening outfits. The future must-have of your dressing room to never go unnoticed!

  

The last (but not least!) meeting of our Paris Fashion Week was with Okthein. Once again, the two Egyptian sisters from Cairo surprise us with their creative and playful bags, that they declined in various colors: navy blue, emerald, powdered pink and orange. Easy formats for active women, you won’t have to panic from a lack of storage for your daily essential thanks to your Okthein bags! Their shapes are always very trendy, chic yet original. We also had a crush on the essential mini-clutch (already adopted by Gigi Hadid!) to shine up your style in the evening.
