As we sit down, it is hard not to notice her clutch that she places on the table. It is a sophisticated clutch that looks like it is mix part bag, part jewelry, and it completes Shooq’s overall look. We learn soon enough that this beautiful clutch is called the Shaikha, and it is from the latest collection. It quickly whets our appetite, and we are eager to learn more about the brand and its creator, Noof Alshekar.
Noof Alshekar and her creations hail from Bahrain. She originally wanted to be an architect but, it is in fine jewelry where she discovered her passion and talent. Therefore, it is no surprise that Noof decided to create clutches that looked like beautiful works of art and jewelry. In 2010, she launched her first model, the Andalucia. It featured a leather base superimposed with gold plated shapes.
Today, this initial model is one of her classics, and it is constantly produced in varying sizes, colors and materials. Noof dedicates herself to perfection of each design; she carefully chooses precious stones to use as clasps with care and passion. Her clutches are the definition of architectural with their geometric shapes.
This artistic effervescence and philosophic luxury was born after Andelucia. It is clearly seen in the refinement and taste of her other designs.
