This week we have celebrated the kick-off of the summer season … The days are getting warmer and we are looking forward to our next vacation destination. If you have planned to go to Morocco this summer, we have thought of you!

Here is our selection of our 10 favorites Riads where you will absolutely have to stay!

Marrakech

We no longer introduce you Marrakech, this city that is making us dream a lot… The summer is very hot there, but you did not want to hear anything and you are still planning to go there during your holidays? We recommend you of course to choose a place where you can fully enjoy the swimming pool …

Riad Yasmine

We have no hesitation in recommending you Riad Yasmine. For those who do not know this place yet, you need to know that it is the most instagrammable pool of the moment! We love everything about the place: the 100% Moroccan decoration chosen with refinement, the incredible green of the courtyard making us feel like we are in the middle of an Oasis in the desert, and the rooftop that will welcome you to drink your mint tea by nightfall !

Riad Sultana

Our other favorite place goes to Riad la Sultana! We can not remain impassive in front of  this sublime Moroccan decoration, subtly mixed with art deco furniture. We also dream of diving in the swimming pool, or staying in the shade under the columns that stand in front of us … A place to discover as soon as you can!

Essaouira

Essaouira, formerly known as Mogador, never ceases to charm us. We love to get lost in the streets of this pretty citadel and breathe the fresh air of the seaside. This Moroccan city with its typical charm, imprint of spirituality, is still very preserved, and constitutes an ideal stop during your stay in Morocco.

Villa Quieta

If you want to stay away from the noise and bustle of the city, while enjoying the typical charm of a Moroccan place, the Villa Quieta is for you. This former family palace is surrounded by a large flower-filled garden on the seafront.

You can enjoy this quiet place by relaxing by the pool, or have breakfast on the terrace facing the sea. This place will amaze you with its beauty, and its traditional decoration: zelliges, large doors and ceilings in Wood, indoor fountain …. L’heure Bleue

Ideally located at the entrance of the medina, this large riad of the 18th century has been renovated to be transformed into a charming hotel with 33 suites and rooms. At l’Heure Bleue you can enjoy its panoramic terrace with a breathtaking view of the old Mogador.

Rabat

Rabat, imperial city, and capital of Morocco, is still mostly unexplored by the tourists. Enjoy it, Rabat is very rich culturally and full of historical heritage, it constitutes therefore a must stop during your road trip in Morocco.

Tanger

Tangier, a city at a crossroads… It attracts our attention, amazes us, disturbs and seduces. This city is known for its attractiveness to a large community of artists, who found their inspiration during their stay in Tangier. Matisse, Delacroix, Stein, Beckett or Bowles, are a few examples. “Tangier is really the pulse of the world, like a dream stretching from the past to the future …” wrote William Burroughs in 1954.

You can not visit the North of Morocco without a stop at Tangier.
